C.1917 George D. Ropers "The Stars and Stripes". A evolution of US Flags upto a 48 Star Flag. The depicted flags are the January 1, 1776 Union Jack Flag, a June 14, 1777 (13) Star Flag, a January 13, 1794 (15) Star Flag and a March 24, 1818 (48) Star Flag. The wonderful lot appears to be in the original wood framing. There is spotting throughout the piece however there appears to be no physical damage. The wood framing and backing are intact with very, very slight marring as expected in a piece of this age. Overall in good condition. 27 in H x 18.75 in W.
